The registration of a nonprofit (non-commercial) legal entity in Georgia is considered very easy, quick, and non-burdensome. The registration is maintained by the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice. The registration fee is quite reasonable and equals 100 GEL (US$42). Within one working day after receiving an application and attached documents, the NAPR either approves or denies registration. Due to the high demand of applications, if registration occurs the day of submission, the NAPR's service fee is 200 GEL (US$83.50).
